How to Perform a Direct Mint

For a 'Direct Mint', you will need to submit the basic information of the NFT and pay the gas, and the on-chain minting will be completed directly on the Uptick Chain.

If you want to perform a direct mint, you need to first select the type you are creating:

Step 1: Collection or NFT

You can create your own collection for personalized definition; if you have completed collection creation, or use the Uptick platform collection, please choose to create NFT.

Step 2: Single or Multiple

If you've already select the collection or NFT, then you need to select single or multiple.

Choose “Single” for one of a kind or “Multiple” if you want to sell one collectible multiple times

How to create collection?

First, you will need to decide on the type of collection you want to create. And please note that once minted, it cannot be modified.

Then, fill in the collection information to better inform users about your upcoming series, such as:

Collection image: the cover image of the collection, which will be displayed in the list

Collection name: the name of the collection

Description: a detailed introduction to the collection, so that users can better understand your works

Category: the classification of the collection, determines the classification under which the collection NFT will be displayed

Customize URL: customize your URL on Uptick. Must only contain lowercase letters, numbers, and underscore.

If it's too troublesome to create a collection, you can also choose the default collection we provide: [Uptick721] or [Uptick 1155]

How to create NFTs for the collection?

After creating a collection, you can create NFTs that pertain to that collection. Usually, the NFTs will follow a consistent theme. The first thing to do is select the type of NFT you want to create:

When creating an NFT, you must choose a collection for your NFT. Collections you create will automatically be shown. We also provide you with a default platform collection just in case you don’t want to create your own collection.

In addition to the basic NFT information, we have added the following settings:

Properties: Add attributes to your NFTs (limit of 64)

License: Choose to make it CC0

Royalty: This represents the percentage received from each subsequent resale (max 10%), default set by 5%.

Viewable: You can choose to publicly display your unsold NFTs
