# Drop Explained

Due to the characteristics of lazy casting, NFT will be minted on the blockchain when the NFT is traded, so a special "sale" method is required. The 'Drop' function was thus born. 

When the creators drop their NFT series in the Uptick marketplace, community members can mint, sell, trade the item according to the minting stage set by the creator. 

Each Lazy mint series has its own drop page where the communities can see the following information provided by the creator: 

* Drop name 
* Creator name 
* Creator social media links 
* Minting Schedule 
* Drop project description
