How to collect credentials?

Step1: Download Upward wallet App

To collect verifiable credentials, you’ll first need to download the Upward Wallet app.

Step2: Create a Web3 Wallet

Upward offers a convenient and user-friendly process for creating a crypto wallet. Simply enter a wallet name and confirm your password to complete the setup.

Your recovery phrase will be securely stored on your local device. You can choose to back up your recovery phase immediately, or at any future time.

Important Notice: Your recovery phrase is crucial for wallet security. lt is the only way to restore your wallet if you lose access. Please back it up securely (e.g., write it down and store it safely). Do not uninstall the app or clear device data before backing up your recovery phrase, or your assets may be lost.

Step3: Create a DID

DIDs are unique identifiers that represent your digital identity. Within Upward, you can associate a DID with your current wallet.

Click the ‘Credentials’ tab below to access the section, and use the creation option in the upper-right corner. You’ll need to provide a DID name, logo, and description. Once you've confirmed everything is correct, click "Create" to complete the DID creation.

Step4: Provide your DID

After creating your DID, you can click the QR code icon on the right to enter the DID details page, where you can view your complete DID and the QR code representing your DID.

Click the copy button you can easily get your complete DID and provide it to verifiable credential issuers and wait for them to issue the credentials.

Click the credential, you can see the detailed information.
